Ran Carthon
Ran Carthon is a former National Football League executive, former Executive Vice President/General Manager of the Tennessee Titans, former NFL player, and current television analyst whose career has uniquely spanned every level of professional football — from college athlete, to NFL player, to front office executive, to media personality and business advisor.
A standout Running Back at the University of Florida under legendary coach Steve Spurrier, Carthon helped develop the leadership foundation, competitive mindset, and relationship-driven approach that would define his career. Following his collegiate career, he played professionally in the NFL from 2004–2006, spending time with the Indianapolis Colts, Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay Packers, Detroit Lions, and Seattle Seahawks.
Transitioning from the field into executive leadership, Carthon went on to build nearly two decades of experience across NFL front offices, earning a reputation as one of the league’s most respected relationship builders, talent evaluators, and organizational strategists. In 2023, he was hired as General Manager of the Titans before being promoted to Executive Vice President/General Manager in 2024, helping oversee football operations, roster construction, organizational leadership, and long-term franchise strategy.
Prior to Tennessee, Carthon held executive roles with the San Francisco 49ers, Los Angeles Rams, and Atlanta Falcons, contributing to championship-caliber organizations and sustained success throughout the league.
Today, Carthon serves as a television analyst, speaker, advisor, and business strategist, bringing a rare perspective shaped by experiences as a player, executive, evaluator, and leader. Known for his authenticity, strategic mindset, and ability to connect people across sports, business, media, and culture, he continues to work with athletes, executives, founders, and organizations focused on leadership, growth, culture, and long-term value creation.
