This year’s event celebrated over two decades of advocacy, featuring a powerful keynote from Interim Executive Director Michele Meyer-Shipp, Esq., who reaffirmed the Alliance’s dedication to championing inclusion and expanding leadership pathways within the NFL.

The evening was highlighted by the presentation of the John B. Wooten Award to the San Francisco 49ers for their exemplary commitment to diversity and a culture of inclusion. The event also featured an insightful “Inside the Hiring Huddle” roundtable with league leaders, discussing the future of equitable hiring practices. From honoring seasoned visionaries to spotlighting the league’s rising stars, the ceremony served as a testament to the progress made and the work still ahead for the Fritz Pollard legacy.
